However, a person can experience headache, stomach ache, or tiredness after a session. This can occur as a result of the body’s vibration going up after treatment. As the body’s vibration goes up, toxins that have been stored in the body are released into the blood stream, filtered by the liver and kidneys, and removed from the system. If this happens, it is recommended to drink more water, eat lighter meals and get some rest. The body is cleansing as part of the healing process which is a good sign.

    You can get Reiki as often as you like; daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. However, it depends on what your intentions are for receiving Reiki. For the best long term affects, it is recommended to continue Reiki sessions in order to heighten and continue the body’s mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional healing.
